Janine Miller Wellbeing and Life Coaching in Lund and Malmö

My name is Janine Miller and I am originally from South Africa. I have lived in the UK and I now live in Sweden.

As a result, I am familiar with the emotional and practical challenges of moving to and settling in a new country.

I am passionate about helping people to make lasting, positive changes in their lives and always aim to support you with the deepest respect and compassion.

While I am experienced in working with a range of client experiences such as depression and anxiety, I am particularly interested in complex trauma, abuse in relationships, difference & diversity, diagnosed and undiagnosed neurodivergence (including ADHD & autism) and most things related to the human psyche.

Since 2005, I have been helping people work through what can feel like a confusing and sometimes chaotic inner world.

In the UK I trained as a Transactional Analysis (TA) psychotherapist and counsellor. This has given me a deep psychological understanding that underpins my approach to supporting others.

My experience has been in the following settings: my own private practise, providing individual and group therapy with non-profit mental health charities, play therapy in primary schools, couples therapy, and managing a therapeutic community supporting individuals to live independently as they transition from a mental health hospital to home.

I offer online therapy across Europe for those individuals who feel most comfortable working in English.

My training background:

MSc in Psychotherapy (awarded by Middlesex University)

Diploma in TA Psychotherapy (awarded by Metanoia Institute)

Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling/Coaching (awarded by Metanoia Institute

Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) (awarded by EATA)

Othmer Method Neurofeedback  (EEG Info Europe)

Professional memberships:

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) clinical accreditation

Metanoia Institute member

The Black, Africa, Asian Therapy Network (BAATN) member

In 2019, I was very proud to deliver this TEDx talk, What do we choose when cultures collide? Drawing from my personal experiences of growing up in apartheid South Africa and later living in the UK, I explored how cultural collisions shape our identities and choices. My talk invited reflection on how we can navigate these intersections with awareness, responsibility, and a commitment to positive change. Watch this15 minute video here:

I am curious. I facilitate self-exploration and self-expression. I am an active listener and I am deeply moved by what emerges when people are given space and time. I am able to gently guide you on a journey to discover your internal world – sometimes hidden or unseen, sometimes unknown. I encourage the expression of the true self. I support your movement towards wellbeing and self-care. I help you to decide how to get your needs met and to choose how you want to live your life.
